Requirements/ Frequently Asked Questions

Insurance Requirements

You must have insurance on the vehicle towing the trailer.
You may purchase our insurance for a daily rate paid directly to our insurance provider.
If you have full coverage you may decline the additional insurance.
If you have general liability, renting or borrowing a vehicle not registered to you (The Renter) you must purchase the daily insurance.

Cancellations, Deposits, Extensions & Refunds

Payment + the refundable deposit are due upfront.
You may cancel at any time with 24 hours notice before pickup for a full refund.
Same day Cancellations and or less than 24 hours notice will be refunded minus a $50 fee.
Refundable deposit is refunded after checkin inspection and there are no missing or damaged items, or damage to the trailer itself.
- This can take up to 7 to 10 business days to reflect in your account.
Extensions
- If you need an extension on your rental please notify us as soon as possible. You will need to pay for the addtional day(s) upfront and an invoice will be sent to you. If you do not pay the invoice timely, the payment will be pulled automatically.

Towing Requirements

Your towing vehicle must be in good working operation
Must be insured
Have the ability to tow the trailer of preference not to exceed the tow rating of the vehicle
Must have a frame style hitch receiver commonly known as a bumper pull
Hitch balls on bumpers not permitted.
Some trailers require a full size truck or bigger to pull, ask us if you're not sure.

Trailer Rental Requirements

Completed Trailer Rental Agreement
Copy of A Valid Driver's License
Copy of A Valid Insurance Card
Enroll or Decline Additional Insurance Coverage starting at $13 - $21/ day
- To decline, you must own the tow vehicle and have full coverage.
Completed Credit Card Authorization form for missing or damaged items
2 5/16" Ball with the proper towing capacity
- Available to rent for $10
Rental Total + $200 Refundable Deposit + Credit Card Processing fee (3.5%)

Out of State

Trailers can be taken anywhere in the United States and Canada.
There is no mileage fee
- You pay for the days you are renting the trailer.
Trailers CANNOT be taken to Mexico for insurance purposes.
- This is also stated in our rental agreement.
Trailer must come back to Arizona

Trailer Delivery, Towing, One Ways

We can deliver and or pickup a trailer per your request depending on the time and availibilty
- Delivery and or pickup is calculated at $2/ mile total round trip
- Example: Request to deliver trailer 20 miles a way, 40 total roundtrip miles = $80
  Request for delivery and pickup 20 miles away, 80 total miles =$160.
One Way Rentals
- We do not offer one way rentals, the trailer must come back.
Will Phoenix Trailer Rental tow for me?
- We do not offer towing for insurance and DOT purposes.
